Some Republic Services Customers’ Garbage/Recycling Still Delayed

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): We told you earlier this week that garbage and recycling would be delayed one day due to the severe winter storm that dropped 10 inches of snow in parts of Fort Wayne. Due to the snow that's still on the ground, Republic Services weren't able to get to many customers who put their carts in alleys. The company says about 5000 households who normally have Wednesday collection but were delayed were also not picked up Thursday. The City of Fort Wayne and Republic are working to pick those customers up Friday.
