From Plowing to Filling Potholes

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): According to leaders with the city of Fort Wayne, Street Department crews will be out in full force this weekend, working to fill numerous potholes left by the recent weather.

 

Drivers are being reminded to be alert and slow down as hundreds of potholes have dotted the streets of Fort Wayne.

 

Meanwhile, the Public Works Division will perform emergency repairs in the area of Catalpa Street and Jefferson Boulevard, near the viaduct. Crews will repair a portion of the street that was severely damaged by the extreme weather conditions. This work will begin at 9:00am Saturday morning.  Drivers should expect delays and may want to plan an alternate route.
