Wife of Former Warsaw Pulbic Works Superintendent, Arrested

KOSCIUSKO COUTNY, Ind. (WOWO): The wife of the former Warsaw Public Works Superintendent has been arrested.

She’s been arrested in connection with an investigation that began late last year into missing money topping $260-thousand dollars. 56-year-old Mildred Francis faces charges of money laundering in connection with the scheme.

Prosecutors say she was over billing the city for contractor work and then pocketing the money.

Lacy Francis resigned his position in January and was later arrested–charged with felony theft, and corruption, among other charges.
