Pedestrian Struck in Kosciusko County

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): A Warsaw man is in critical condition after being struck on a county road in Kosciusko County.

Authorities say 22-year old Michael Keener was struck by an SUV as he walked along County Road 150 West just north and west of Warsaw. It happened around 5:30 a.m. this morning.

The man was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital. The driver told police he didn’t see Keener until the last minute. As the driver swerved to avoid Keener, his vehicle crashed into a utility pole.
