5 Injured In Ligonier Crash

LIGONIER, Ind. (WOWO):  A crash early Sunday morning sent a driver and three passengers to the hospital.  

Around 2:45 a.m. the Noble County Sheriff's Department arrived to 750 W just north of 500 N in Ligonier.  They say the vehicle ran off the road ans truck a tree head on.  Police say the driver, 26 year old Cody Harroff of Kimmell, may have been speeding, and it's unknown if drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.  Harroff was pinned in the vehicle and had to be flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center.  

Of the four passengers, three were sent to Parkview Regional Medical Center, even though all four sustained injuries.  The passengers were 25 year old Brandon Watts of Ligonier (head laceration), 18 year old Kevin Frane of Kendallville (elbow injury), 31 year old Anthony Hoover of Kimmell (abdominal pain), and 30 year old Heather Taylor of Ligonier (abdominal pain).   

Police do not indicate which passengers were transported to the hospital.
