Two Men Arrested Following Domestic Dispute

KOSCIUSCKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two men were arrested Monday night following a domestic dispute.


According to Kosciusko County police, officers were called to a Warsaw home located on Miami Drive, around 3:16 p.m. Monday. Police say, two the men arrived at the home and started an argument with two residents. Things got out of hand and one of the suspects hit one of the residents in the head with a handgun. Both men then left the scene.


Just after 7:00 p.m., 23-year-old Michael Lewis of Silver Lake was later located at a gas station on U.S. 30 near Commerce Drive. After a short pursuit, officers apprehended Lewis and arrested him. He's charged with carrying a handgun without a license, battery with a deadly weapon, possession of paraphernalia and resisting police. He was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $4,000 bond.


During the investigation, officers obtained information on the whereabouts of the second man involved, identified as 22-year-old Andrew Alexander of Mentone. Alexander was later found and taken into custody. He was charged with domestic battery and domestic battery in the presence of a child under 16 and is being held on a $1,000 bond.
