Local Branch of NAACP Undergoes Leadership Changes

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  The Fort Wayne chapter of the NAACP will be changing its leadership roles.

The current vice president, 30-year-old Larry Gist has been active with the Fort Wayne chapter since he retired in 2010. He became the chapter's interim president after former President Saharra Bledsoe left the organization sometime within the last month.

According to the Journal Gazette, no action was taken during Thursday's meeting due to a lack of quorum, or the minimum number of members present to make the actions of the meeting valid.</div>
