Utility Work on State Blvd Expected to Begin Monday

 

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Crews are expected to begin work next week on stretch of roadway just north of downtown.

That work could impact your commute.

City officials say they'll begin work Monday on a water main on State Boulevard. That project will detour traffic between Clinton and Wells Street for at least two weeks.

The pipe will help improve reliability for neighborhoods north of downtown. The 30-inch water feeder pipe spans 7,000 feet total and will be completed by July.
