UPDATE: Mother Faces Preliminary Charges after 3-Year-Old’s Body Found

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Police say the mother of a 3-year-old Indiana boy reported missing over the weekend and her boyfriend face preliminary charges after searchers located a child's body.

Twenty-one-year-old Breanna Arnold and 30-year-old Zachary Barnes, both of Bluffton, face preliminary charges of child neglect resulting in death. Barnes and a 16-year-old boy are charged with abuse of a corpse.

Three-year-old Owen Collins was last seen about 8 p.m. Saturday. A body matching Owen's description was found Sunday. An autopsy was being conducted Monday for a positive identification. Police didn't know when they'd have results.

Arnold and Barnes are being held in the Wells County Jail, and the Sheriff's department said they don't have lawyers yet. The teenager is in a juvenile detention facility. Huss said all three will appear in court Tuesday.
