FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Sentencing happened today for a man accused of stabbing his estranged wife last Easter.

46 year old Tommy Townsend was sentenced to 55 years in jail after a jury convicted him of multiple charges, including burglary resulting in bodily injury and criminal confinement.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Townsend drive his bleeding wife, Zaida Townsend, around for hours after the assault before dropping her off with a relative in Ohio. He claims to have no memory of the knife attack in her apartment.
