Kroger Celebrates Zoo Day

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Kroger stores around Northeast Indiana are celebrating Zoo Day Wednesday.

All 15 area stores will contribute 3 percent of total sales to the Zoo. In 23 years, the Kroger and Scott's stores have contributed more than $1.6 million dollars to the zoo.

They are aiming at raising $75,000 this year.

The day will include live radio broadcasts and visits by the Zoomobile and Bill the Lion at select locations. All locations will feature food sampling and door prizes.
