Sex Offender Arrested in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man wanted for not registering as a sex offender was arrested in Fort Wayne.

50 year old Edward Perrey was arrested by U.S. Marshals and the Allen County Sheriff's Department at a home in southeast Fort Wayne near the intersection of Paulding and Hessen Cassel. 

A Steuben County press release stated Perrey had a warrant out for his arest after the Steuben County Sheriff's Department investigated allegations that he had failed to register as a sex offender, which is a felony. 

Perrey is in Allen County Jail awaiting extradition to Steuben County.
