FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are investigating an altercation on the city’s north side that left one person in serious condition.

Police were called to a home on the 7700 block of Tendall Court around 9 o’clock Sunday morning. There, they found a victim suffering from what appeared to be an apparent beating.

According to our Partners in News at 21Alive, a child was taken from the residence at the time of the incident, but she was later found in another home, uninjured.

Police have not yet released the victim’s identity. or the events that led up to the altercation.
