City Council Gives Final Approval to Riverfront Development Fund

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): After preliminary approval earlier this month, City Council gave final approval last night to create a Riverfront Development Fund, which is partially made up of Legacy Fund dollars, that according to the Journal Gazette.

A reported $6 million of Legacy Fund money will be used. The rest of the fund will be comprised of money from The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne and the Allen County Fort Wayne Capital Improvement Board, which have each pledged $3 million.

Part of the money will be used for environmental studies and other projects.
