Report: New Haven Plant To Shut Down By Next Year

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A New Haven company will be closing their doors.

The Sporlan Division of Parker Hannifin announced the plan to end their Precision Cooling Business Unit within the next 12 months.

The facility has approximately 150 employees. They say the manufacturing will be transferred to other Parker facilities in Tennessee and Missouri. In a statement to media, they say the current and projected demand for the precision cooling products made at the plant can no longer support the manufacturing capacity in New Haven, and does not reflect the performance of the long serving employees there.
