The crash happened around 2:40 Monday afternoon at McKinnie at McMillen Park Drive. 

The motorcycle was heading east on McKinnie at a high rate of speed when it collided with a truck turning left onto McKinnie. Police found a helmet nearby. 

The Fort Wayne Police Department says the driver, who has not been identified yet, was declared dead on the scene. 

The driver of the pickup wasn't hurt. The crash is still under investigation.
