Austin Hatch Granted Another Year of Eligibility

According to various media reports, Canterbury high school basketball standout  Austin Hatch has been granted another year of high school basketball eligibility by the IHSAA. Hatch was scheduled to play his Senior season for the Cavs after missing his Junior year of hoops due to injuries sustained in a tragic plane accident that took the life of his father and step mother. With the ruling, the University of Michigan recruit will be eligible to play during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.
