Corey Elkins scored the game-winner as the Fort Wayne Komets downed Gwinnett 4-2 in ECHL hockey at Memorial Coliseum last night. Elkins, who was sent to the K’s by Norfolk of the AHL, also had an assist on the night while teammate Luca Caputi had 3 assists. Next action for the Komets will be Friday when they host Cincinnati in an 8:00 faceoff.
