It shows that Mourdock took in twice as much money as his Democratic rival, Joe Donnelly, and had 400 thousand dollars at the ready to spend. But get this, outside spending has skyrocketed. The Democratic groups have spent 4 million dollars, the Republican’s have spent 6 million, but keep in mind all of this is through the 3rd quarter. This does not account for the final 5 weeks of the campaign.
