Marion man makes appearance in Arianna Carmack case…

Donald Riddle of Marion made a court appearance Monday. He’s the man who is believed to be responsible for the death of Arianna Carmack, the two-year old Grant County girl, who was found dead in her home last month suffering from burns.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, there were no major developments from the hearing.

Riddle was arrested last month and charged with felony child neglect causing death, after his girlfriend’s daughter was found unresponsive, with burns to her face and torso, and bruises over her legs.

Court documents allege when mom got home, Riddle tried to steer her away from checking on the child. The case is set to go to trial July 16th.
