Funeral for Indianapolis Soldier Killed by Bomb

SOUTHPORT, Ind. (AP) _ A funeral for 23-year-old soldier from Indianapolis killed by a bomb in Afghanistan is scheduled for Saturday.
 
  WTHR-TV reports the funeral for Sgt. Tristan Wade will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Southport High School. Gov. Mike Pence ordered flags to be flown at half-staff at government facilities in Marion County in honor of Wade.
 
  Wade died on March 22 when enemy forces attacked his unit with a homemade bomb. Wade joined the Army while he was still in high school and also served in the Iraq War. He was assigned to the 573rd Clearance Co., 2nd Engineer Battalion, based at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. 
 
  He is survived by a wife, his daughter, his parents and two brothers.
