Ind. House Set to Vote on School Safety Grant Plan

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): A stripped-down proposal that would start a state grant program toward helping school districts hire police officers is set to be voted on by Indiana lawmakers. The House is expected to vote today on the bill. Provisions that would have required all public schools to have gun-carrying employees during school hours were pulled from the measure last week.
