FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There’s a public meeting this week to go over proposed upgrades to one of Fort Wayne’s most popular parks.

Home to both the Foellinger Theatre and the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, Franke Park hosts about a million visitors every year. Now a discussion is underway to consider the infrastructure, ecology, design, and programming of the park, as well as to find ways to improve public access and bring more people in.

The public meeting is set for this Thursday from 5pm to 8pm at the park’s Pavilion #1.
