KOKOMO, Ind. (AP) _ A central Indiana city’s senior citizens center is going to be closed for several more weeks as repairs are made from April flooding damage.
 
  Kokomo Senior Center director Tammy Corn says about 20 inches of water came in through the building’s crawl space following the city’s April 19 storm.
 
  Corn tells the Kokomo Tribune that it was the first time in 38 years for the building to have water damage. She says drywall and flooring are being replaced, along with electrical and plumbing repairs.
 
  The damage was estimated at $200,000 and the repair work is expected to continue until August.
 
  The center has 790 registered seniors. It has moved some of its activities and meals to other locations, although Corn says many regular events aren’t being held.
