INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indiana is apparently ending its two-year legal fight to deny Medicaid funds to Planned Parenthood because it performs abortions.

 
  Lawyers for the state and Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky filed a proposed final judgment in the case Monday in federal court in Indianapolis.
 
  That judgment still needs a judge's approval, but it would permanently enjoin Indiana from enforcing a 2011 state law that denied Medicaid funds to the women's health provider. Planned Parenthood's claim that the law is unconstitutional would also be dismissed.
 
  Indiana Planned Parenthood President Betty Cockrum says she's “been encouraged at every step of the way but two years is a long time.'' 
 
  A message seeking comment was left with a state spokesman.
 
  The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hear Indiana's appeal in the case.
