FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Kindergarteners at The Goddard School of Fort Wayne are turning a lesson on kindness into generosity.

The students recently held a lemonade stand to benefit Riley Children’s Health, greeting visitors, serving lemonade and explaining their cause.

School officials say the event raised approximately $1,300.

The children presented a check to Riley representatives Friday.
