INDIANA, (WOWO): September 1st is the last day you can apply for a taxpayer-funded voucher to help pay for a private school for your kids.   

Since September 1st is on a Sunday this year, School Choice Indiana suggests that parents get their application in as soon as possible.

“They actually apply directly through the school – the school submits their application,” said Marissa Lynch, field director for School Choice Indiana. “It would be best for them to get in on Friday to submit that application through the school if they want to beat the deadline.”

A family qualifies for either 50-percent or 90-percent of the state per-pupil funding level depending on their income.
