Man Arrested for Dealing Wild Animals

HAMLET, Ind. (WOWO): A Chicago man is facing three years in prison and thousands in fines after allegedly dealing wildlife captured in Stark County.

Conservation officers arrested 47-year old Alexander Moy after he purchased animals including fish, raccoons, turtles and deer. Those animals were then sold to markets and restaurants in Chicago, according to investigators.

Moy was arrested after officers served search warrants at property he owned near the community of Hamlet. That's about 15 miles west of Plymouth.
