New Survey Ranks the Most Family-Friendly Cities in Indiana

INDIANA, (WOWO): According to new survey from NerdWallet.com the majority of family friendly cities in the Hoosier state, are in central Indiana.

The top towns in order include: Carmel, Fishers, Granger, Crown Point, Greenwood, Plainfield, Valparaiso, Noblesville, Jeffersonville and Schererville.

Spokesman Mike Anderson says they measured school performance, home values, affordability, household income and income growth among other criteria to determine the “Best Towns for Young Families.”

He adds, excellent schools and income are perhaps the most important factors in determining the family friendliness of a city or town.
