Pence Details Economic Plan, Biz Tax Cut at Core

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Gov. Mike Pence is talking more about his plans to bolster the state's economy. The governor's second-year agenda includes a call to eliminate the personal property tax, ease business permitting, cut certain licensing requirements and other items. Pence is expected to deliver more details about his economic plan during a pair of stops Tuesday. The governor's economic plan is the second piece of his 2014 agenda he is detailing before the General Assembly takes up his agenda. He talked about his education proposals during a stop in Corydon last week.
