Police: Man, Son Dead from Apparent Murder-Suicide

GREENSBURG, Ind. (AP): Police in southeastern Indiana say a man and his teenage son have been found dead inside a car from an apparent murder-suicide.

Greensburg police Detective Bill Meyerrose says the two were discovered dead late Tuesday near a park in the city about 40 miles southeast of Indianapolis.

Police say both 44-year-old Gregory Hall and his 14-year-old son Tyler had been shot. Officers found the car about an hour after police in neighboring Rush County had started searching for them because Gregory Hall was considered suicidal.
