Two Children Hit by School Bus in Central Indiana

TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. (AP): Authorities say two children have been taken to hospitals after they were hit by a school bus in a central Indiana town.
 
       The Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department says the children were hit about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in Taylorsville. The children were struck in a neighborhood of the town about 30 miles south of Indianapolis.
 
       Officials say one child was flown to an Indianapolis hospital. The other was taken to a hospital in nearby Columbus. Information about the extent of their injuries or ages wasn't immediately available.
 
       Taylorsville is part of the Bartholomew County school district and has one elementary school.
