Ind. Residents Can Drop Off Unwanted Medications

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indiana residents will be able to dispose of unused, expired or unwanted prescription drugs at state police posts and other locations later this month. The “Prescription Drug Take Back'' initiative seeks to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft. The program is intended for medications in liquid and pill forms only. New or used needles will not be accepted.
