DNR Offering Class For New Hunters

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): If your favorite kind of blind is found in a tree instead on a window, then you'll want to hear this latest offer from the state.  

The Indiana DNR is offering a free program to learn how to hunt white-tailed deer. Registration is open for the “Hunt, Fish, Eat” program starting on August 19th in Indianapolis and August 27th in Bloomington. The program is a four-session series with an option fifth session.

The program is designed for new hunters over the age of 18 to improve self-reliance skills and to learn how to harvest fresh, local meat.

Participants should attend all sessions. All equipment is provided. You can register by going to the Indiana DNR website.
