FISHERS, Ind. (AP) — Rising concerns about Ebola are showing up at some Indiana businesses.

A Fishers company is seeing a big increase in orders for its protective gear, and a Fort Wayne health store has begun selling suits to ward off the deadly disease.

Tony Baumgartner tells WTHR that orders from his Fishers company, DQE, have increased 1,000 percent in recent weeks. The new outfits seal open seams in the fabric to reduce the chances of contamination.

WPTA reports Healthkick Nutrition Centers in Fort Wayne is selling protective suits made of tight-fitting plastic that include gloves, goggles and a face mask.

Store owner Dan Morris says the idea fits into his business's healthy lifestyle but acknowledges some people will scoff at the idea.
