Man’s Body Found in Bloomington Creek Over Weekend

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) – Authorities are working to confirm the identity of a man's body found in a Bloomington creek over the weekend.

Bloomington police Sgt. Lucas Tate says officers were called Saturday evening about the body in Clear Creek on the city's south side. Tate tells The Herald-Times the body was found in shallow water at the bottom of a 10-foot wall behind the Night Moves strip club.

Tate says an autopsy was planned for Monday to determine what caused the man's death. He says investigators didn't immediately know how long the man was in the creek or whether foul play was involved.
