Indiana Reminds Travelers of County Travel Advisory Map

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – With a winter storm arriving in Indiana, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security is reminding motorists they can check road conditions with the Indiana County Travel Advisory Map.

The map is updated with information from the county emergency management agencies and describes the local travel condition and whether they warrant a warning, watch, advisory and caution.

The map is available online at http://www.in.gov/dhs/traveladvisory/, or on mobile devices by downloading the Indiana Travel Advisory app for iPhone (https://appsto.re/us/QHVw4.i) in the App Store, and Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gov.in.traveladvisory) in the Google Play Store.

The National Weather Service predicted as much as 7 inches of snow would fall on parts of northern Indiana by midday Tuesday.
