BURNS HARBOR, Ind. (AP) _ A replica of the train that carried President Abraham Lincoln's body back to his home state of Illinois will go on display next month in northwest Indiana.

Visitors will be able to see the near-exact replica engine, funeral car and coal tender from Oct. 8-11 at the Indiana Welcome Center in Hammond.

The Times of Northwest Indiana reports (bit.ly/1iKQVZV) the Leviathan locomotive engine arrived Tuesday in Burns Harbor, where it will be stored at a steel plant until it goes on display.

The replica was built by Dave Kloke of Elgin, Illinois. Its funeral car was brought to Springfield, Illinois, in May for events to mark the 150th anniversary of the slain president's death.

Since then it has been drawing thousands of visitors during stops around the country.
