Judge Orders Indiana Man Held on Murder Charge Until Trial

NEW CASTLE, Ind. (AP) _ A judge has denied bond for a 37-year-old eastern Indiana man accused of murder in the death of a woman whose body was found partially enclosed in a suitcase in a pond in April.

The (Muncie) Star Press reports (http://tspne.ws/1SMAuYR) Henry Circuit Judge Kit Crane on Tuesday denied bond for Anthony Emerson Dailey of New Castle on Tuesday, writing that the prosecution's evidence tended to show the proof of the defendant's guilt is evident.

Dailey's public defenders had asked Crane to set bond.

He is charged with murder in the death of 22-year-old Kirsten Sidwell, also of New Castle. A fisherman found her body April 2 at a state wildlife area in northern Henry County, about 40 miles east of Indianapolis.

Dailey's trial is set to begin Feb. 1.
