30-Car Pileup Shuts Down I-70

RICHMOND, Ind. (WOWO): Interstate 70 was shut down in both directions after a 30-car pileup crash this morning.

The Indiana State Police says the snow-covered roads ended up causing a number of crashes, involving multiple vehicles, some of which are semis. The ISP says they're still investigating but injuries have been reported.

Troopers are diverting traffic to State Road 1, and say it will take hours to clear the area.
