Paulding Man Killed in Farm Accident

PAULDING, Oh. (WOWO): A northwest Ohio man is dead after a farming accident.

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office says 75-year-old Richard Ross fell off his tractor and was hit by the attachment he was pulling. His body was found just before 8:30 last night in a field near the intersection of Roads 137 and 118.

“My thoughts are with the Ross family at this time,” Sheriff Jason K. Landers said, “it is believed Mr. Ross might have experienced a health issue that caused his fall, as there is no evidence of rough terrain or wrongdoing on his part.”
