COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) _ The state is launching a new campaign targeting the 5 percent of Ohioans struggling with problem gambling.
The Columbus Dispatch reports the Ohio Lottery Commission, Ohio Casino Control Commission and Drug Free Action Alliance will join the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for a news conference Monday morning.
The organizations and agencies will introduce their “Be the 95%'' campaign at the Statehouse Atrium in Columbus where Ohioans will also share their stories of gambling addiction.
The state is focusing on addiction as Ohio gets more gambling options, including casinos, racinos, the Ohio Lottery, electronic gaming, bingo and skill game parlors.
The campaign website has a 10-question quiz allowing people to gauge whether they have a compulsive gambling problem. It also has facts about gambling addiction.
