WEBSTER, Ind. (WOWO): A Columbia City man has been identified as the victim of a boat crash that happened over Labor Day weekend. 

On Saturday, Indiana Conservation officers say 53 year old Jeffery Melvin veered into the path of another watercraft and collided with it. Melvin had injuries to the right side of his torso and died from his injuries Monday night at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. 

No foul play is suspected, but the investigation continues.
