The Open House set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., includes plenty of behind the scenes looks at the brand new locker rooms. Parking and admission is free.

Those areas underwent nearly $1 million dollars of improvements with new showers, training rooms, dressing space and enhanced meeting technology for coaches.  The locker rooms will be used by the Komets, Mad Ants, IPFW and visiting teams.

Guests will also tour the press box, suites and see other improvements. Those including new energy efficient LED lighting, scoreboard additions.

Fans will also experience the game-day lighting – a presentation that promises to impress. Officials say, they will show off the full-effect that lighting in the Komet home opener, Saturday, October 17.

The $13.7 million convention center is on schedule, but, won't be open until January.

Finding a parking spot will be easier, more than 100 parking spaces have been added on the arena's north side.
