FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): For the first time ever, Waynedale is connected to the Rivergreenway. 

Summer construction along Lower Huntington has created a new sidewalk on the north side of Lower Huntington from Winchester to the Rivergreenway. A new trail ramp is connected to the sidewalk, allowing people in Waynedale to access the trail safely. 

The number of trails in the 85 mile network has more than tripled in Fort Wayne in the last 10 years, jumping from 21 to 66.
