Air Compressor Fire Cleared At Isaac Tire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It took about an hour to fully clear Isaac Tire of a reported building fire on Sunday.

Around 11:32 a.m. at 3525 Independence Dr. near Hillegas Rd., a fire alarm was set and crews arrived just minutes later. The complex was filling with smoke because of an overheated air compressor.

The equipment was disconnected from power and the fire was extinguished. It took more time afterwards to clear the air from smoke in the building, and no injuries were reported.
