Select Post Offices open Sunday, Dec. 20

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): As we go into the last week of the holiday season, the U.S. Postal Service wants to help customers mail last-minute gifts and cards. Select Post Office retail operations throughout the Greater Indiana District will be open for four hours on Sunday, Dec. 20.

“As we count down to the holidays, we know how stressful the season can be as we rush to get everything done on time,” said Greater Indiana District Manager Larry Diegel. “Opening on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in select Post Offices will help our customers check holiday mailing off their list,” he said.

The following Post Office retail locations will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 20:

Indianapolis Stations: Nora, Park Fletcher, Southport and Castleton.

Outside Marion County: Carmel, Noblesville, Zionsville, Westfield, Anderson, Danville, Brownsburg, West Lafayette, Fishers, Lafayette, Columbus, Greenwood, Muncie and Richmond.

Northwest area: Valparaiso, Gary and Merrillville.

Southern Indiana: Bloomington, Woodbridge, Terre Haute Main Office and Terre Haute Rose.

Fort Wayne area: Fort Wayne Northwood and Centennial.

South Bend area: South Bend Main Office, Edison Park, Elkhart, Chippewa, Mishawaka, Marion and Kokomo.

Note: The Seymour, Madison and Bedford Post Offices will be open from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
