FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A group of IPFW students got really cold for a good cause over the weekend.

A number of students took the “Polar Plunge,” diving into an ice-cold swimming pool in nothing but bathing suits Saturday, to raise money for the Indiana Special Olympics. Our partners in news at 21Alive report the money will go toward sending athletes with special needs to the games.

Another “plunge” is set for Saturday at Metea Park at 10am.
