Six arrested in meth lab busts

BLUFFTON, Ind. (WOWO): Six people have been arrested after a couple of meth lab raids in Bluffton.

The Wells County Sheriff’s Office and Bluffton Police Department announced Tuesday they got a call about suspicious activity on East Spring Street near Bluffton Motor Works on February 1st. They tell our Partners in News at 21Alive they found a car registered in Tennessee containing meth ingredients and guns, some of which were from a reported burglary, which led them on a string of followup investigations, more discovered burglaries, and finally some arrests.

By the time they were done 14 days later, six people were arrested, 2 meth labs were found, and 24 stolen guns were recovered.

Arrested were Trae Lane, Justin Troop, David Watson, Jerri Watson, Anthony West, and Daniel Zerbe Jr. Two other people are wanted on warrants, but they were not identified.
