FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne Police officer described as “hostile” by a City Councilman accused of threatening his job did nothing wrong, according to the City’s Public Safety Director.

Rusty York says an exchange caught on video between Officer Bob Abels and Councilman Paul Ensley didn’t violate any department policies. That’s according to our partners in news at 21Alive, who first published the video after Ensley came out against allegations that he threatened the officer’s job when police responded to a domestic abuse call at Ensley’s home this week.

Ensley, who showed up at a city council meeting the next day with facial injuries, has filed for an order of protection against his ex-girlfriend. He claims she got angry after he questioned her drinking, so she broke his glasses and threw a space heater at him.
